Jimmie Johnson became the first driver to win back-to-back races at The Brickyard when a speeding penalty knocked Juan Pablo Montoya out of contention.
Montoya led 116 laps at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and had a five-second lead over the competition when NASCAR flagged him for speeding as he entered pit road with 35 laps left in Sunday’s race.
