Kenny Wallace has been around the NASCAR Nationwide Series too long to get excited about early success at an international event.

“We can’t judge Montreal by the first and second years,” Wallace said. “We’ve really got to judge this race by its fourth and fifth year, because what seems to be happening is every time we do an international deal, it loses its luster. Regan Smith, Sam Hornish Jr. and Michael McDowell all ran the June race at Pocono Raceway and each of them is happy to be back for this Sunday’s Sunoco Red Cross Pennsylvania 500.

“Last night, I was getting ready to go to sleep and thinking about today and different things about the racing and what I’m going to be looking for out of my race car,” Smith said Friday.
